Let's Independent! w/ Everest, The Transmissions, & The Bentleys

Hey! Save the date for Tuesday, February 19th because Let's Independent! is returning to Boardner's of Hollywood with the mind-blowingly fantastic line-up of Everest, The Transmissions, and The Bentleys. Have a problem with commitment? Well, we've made it easy for you because it's FREE.

You've probably read all the glowing comments that the local music press and blogs have written about Everest already (and you can be sure I'll quote the hell out of them in any and all subsequent posts), but let me add one languid descriptor in front of "indie rock": dreamy.

I've been walking around with the song Rebels & Roses in my head since they sent it to us to post to the public in our RFSL 2008 Mix last month, but especially since I caught them perform it at The Echo last week... And hearing it live is kind of like dreaming while being awake.

Meanwhile, Central Second Collective members The Transmissions and upbeat indie pop act The Bentleys will both be playing material off of their upcoming albums (which I'm really looking forward to coming out).
