Everest's Album Arrives Today

It's been said before and better that local indie rock act Everest are something of a "super-group," what with members ranging from Sebadoh, the Folk Implosion, Earlimart, Great Northern, and more. Or as Prefix put it, "Name an indie rock band that you like, and chances are that one of the guys in Everest has some connection to the group."

Their much-anticipated album Ghost Notes is out today on Neil Young's Vapor Records and they're playing tonight at seven at Amoeba Music to help usher it in.

After that, they have several shows in SoCal (including next Monday at The Viper Room with Film School and The Savages) before performing on Late Night With Conan O'Brien on Friday, the 16th and heading to Dublin, Ireland for a show at, yep, a frigging castle with Neil Young.

All congrats to the group, who besides putting on a fantastic live show are incredibly nice guys... Success? They got it coming.
