The Monday Show Low Down (Or "One Of These People ... Is A Werewolf!")

Been working so much lately I've been missing shows left and right, but the new game is coming along well. I hope to sneak out for a few of the nights this week, but I'm really, really, really looking forward to our Let's Independent! show on the 19th. All three acts are fantastic.

Monday, August 11th
- Indie 103.1’s Check One...Two presents... Love Grenades, Ladies and Gents, Little Red Radio, & The Kiss Off @ The Silver Lake Lounge (FREE)
- Sean Carnage Presents KXLU’s Demolisten w/ Pinched Nerve, Dog Weed, & Mi Ami @ Pehrspace

- Jeffrey Davis (of Brian Jonestown Massacre) & friends @ Cafe Mariposa
- Love Grenades & Ladies and Gents @ The Silver Lake Lounge (FREE)

The folks behind KXLU Demolisten show are putting on a night at Pehrspace tonight. I don't know the acts that are playing, but they've turned me on to good music (like Amnion, por ejemplo).

Some people like Ariel Pink's weirder music, some people like his 60s pop stuff more. Never know what you'll get...

Suki Ewers is another local act I've been meaning to see. This show is the cd release party for her latest album and Old Toy Trains are also playing.

That's it. Please let me know if I missed anything...
