Band of the Week: Death To Anders
Local indie rock act Death To Anders are one of the hardest working bands in this great big town of ours. They play shows constantly -- maybe only The Henry Clay People or The Monolators play out more -- besides helping out with The Central Second Collective and helping put on nights at The Cocaine out in Little Tokyo.
Since Death To Anders perform so frequently, it's no surprise that they've become a really solid live act. To the point where if you heard them a year ago or earlier recordings, they almost sound like a completely different band now. Definitely catch them out sometime...
Like, this weekend at the Breast Cancer Benefit Show at The Cocaine with The Transmissions, The Henry Clay People, One Trick Pony, and The Slow Demise. You can see some great bands and help raise money for a good cause at the same time. (And the place next door has some good sushi and stuff...)
