End Of The Year Top Music List

It's early December, but the holiday parties and end-of-the-year favorites lists are already starting to appear in full force like excessive xmas decorations on houses in the suburbs...

Take for instance, Little Radio alum Scott MacDonald's Favorite Albums And Performances article over on Surfing On Steam and Nic Harcourt from KCRW's Top Ten, which gets some indie cred for having local music darlings Great Northern and Sea Wolf amongst its ranks. Can Bronson, Weiss, Jax, or Duke be far behind?

I'll be putting together my own attempt at a favorites list -- not a top ten best since I'm not really qualified to write one of those -- later this week, but I'd really like to hear your picks. Please take a little time to post your top albums, EPs, shows, and the rest in the comments below, so as to share with all the other kids. Thanks!

Starting tomorrow and it isn't going to be pretty. I have heard way way too much music this year. i think it's time to admit I have a problem.

hey Joe, looking forward to seeing your list! Need to get mine made myself and round up the tallys at RFC. BTW, for you LA faithful out there, I'm totally with Harcourt on the Great Northern and Sea Wolf. I've listened to both a lot this year.

5 Shows that changed my life this year were...
1)AA Bondy at the Hotel Cafe (this guy is the next Bob Dylan!)
2)Spoon at Little Radio (I had to rush out of my own gig to catch this show but it was worth it)
3)Henry Clay People in Fresno (legendrary)
4)Langhorne Slim at the Troubador (best live band in the world?)
5)Nightfur at Bordello (okay I'm biased here since I was actually filling in on bass at this show...but it was certainly life changing for me)
