Video Free Silver Lake: The Sugarplastic, Electrelane, & Dog Days
Raise your hands if you like days when you hear tracks from three bands you've never heard before and then can't get any of them out of your goddamn head. (Takes a moment to count...) Well, that's what my Tuesday was like and here's a video for each one.
The first is for the song Autumn All The Time from The Sugarplastic, who are doing a Friday night residency this month with The Autumns at Spaceland.
The second is the track To The East from Electrelane off their new album No Shouts, No Calls -- which Little Radio gave high marks earlier this week. They're opening for The Arcade Fire at The Greek (um, hate to say it, but fire permitting) on May 29th and 30th before headlining at The Troubadour the next day.
The third is from Canadian outfit Dog Day, which I read about on the great site Rewritable Content. It's for the song Lydia off their new album Night Group. Watch those little guys go!
