The Monday Show Low Down (Or "When The Light Makes Your Hair Hurt...")

Last night, I acted out a cautionary tale about excessive alcohol consumption and paid a terrible, terrible price for it this morning. It's safe to say that when buying drinks so strong that one makes you drunk, you shouldn't have four. I guess we do end up using math in real life, after all...

Like Burroughs said, "Anyone who's never made mistakes -- and paid for his mistakes -- I trust him little in the commerce of the soul. No experience... Young thief, thinks he has a license to steal; young lawyer, never botched a case; young doctor, never killed a patient. They don't know the score..."

Ha. Leave it to a writer to over-dramatize having a hangover... Anyway, I added a linked listing of local music venues to the right-hand column to hopefully make up for the late post. Here's a look at the week in music here in LA.

DECISION:
It's safe to say that I'm going to recommend going to Little Radio Summer Camp every weekend (now on Sundays) for the rest of the summer, regardless of who is playing.

I don't know any of the bands this time, but you'd be hard pressed to find a better time during the day b/c of the outdoor activities and what not.

And at night, there's an incredible line-up over at All-Star Lanes...

Also, the singerly Willoughby are at Tangier on Sunday night... I was struck (extra) dumb by their song Frankenstein earlier today. My mouth is still partially open.

That's it. Did I miss anything? Please lemme know.
